スパイラルライフのファースト。
すでに解散してしまったけどこのアルバムの
素晴らしさは今聞いても全く色あせることはない。
それは一曲、一曲のクオリティーの高さから
くるものだろう。
ポスト・フリッパーズとかカタログアーティストなんて
呼ばれていたこともあったがそんなものは関係ない。
この手のバンドは曲が良ければオールオッケーだと思う。

いつの時代もメロディーの良さは不変なのだから。
なお、プロデューサーとシンセサイザー、
コンピュータープログラミングにはあの藤井丈司が参加。
なかなか面白い組み合わせ。
スパイラルライフを聴いたことない人はまずはこのアルバムから。

フリッパーズ後追いだろ？なメディアの印象で聴いていない方、いやしませんか？そういう方へ。
どう考えても彼らが頭一つ出ている部分があります。古き良きソフトロックの香りすら漂う、....それはそれはあまりに美しいハーモニーだったのです。（思わずおとぎ話口調になってしまう程に）。
rasberry belleでその全てはわかっていただけるかと思います。

今の車谷さん、大分声をつぶして歌うようになってしまわれましたが、それでもいいからまた二人で歌ってくれないかな。（それこそおとぎ話ですが....。）
とにかくハーモニーマニアは必聴！それだけで買いです！冒険実験しつつも限りなく歌モノであることを保障する美しすぎるメロディーにも乾杯。

表題曲でもありますがfurther along ~もっと遠くへは名曲ですね。
郷愁を呼び起こすような…夏の日の午後の眩しい情景が思い浮かびます。
全曲名曲。これは名盤です。
flipper's guitarよりL⇔Rに寄り近いバンドじゃねぇかなぁ。フリーキーなポップスを聴きたい方は是非。
