とてもタイトなリズムセクションですが、泥臭さは忘れない。70年代フュージョンバンドにありがちな”泥臭いだけ”の音ではありません。ラリーとジェリーの微妙なホーンはこんな昔から確立されていたんですね。センスが光っています。正直シーウインドの存在をつい最近知りました。ポーリーンはYUTAKAのアルバムで知ったのですが、彼女も昔からスタイルを変えてないですね。とてもグルーヴィーなのにさっぱりとしている、こんな音大好きです。

ボクの青春の一枚。名盤中の名盤。速攻でショッピングカートに入れるべき。当時高校生だったボクは、これの輸入版のLP（うう、こういう時代もあったんだ）を文字通り擦り切れるほど聴いた。ポーリンの伸びやかなボーカル、爽やかで歯切れのいいホーンとリズムは、未だボクの音楽の基準点である。いやあ、今、このアルバムを聴きながら打っているんだけど、名曲「フォロウ・ユア・ロード」でもう泣きそう。たぶん、多くの人はラリーとジェリーをとっかかりに聴くと思うけど、まずはそういうことをリセットしてから聴いてほしい。良い音楽は古くならない、というのを実感できるから。

ぼくが高校生の頃、輸入版を買った。輸入版だったので反りがあり針が飛んで聞きにくかったな。聞きすぎたのかな。当時流行のAORのさきがけみたいだった。
　シーウインドがCDででれば絶対に買いたかった。
　とにかく今この手の音って探してもない。軽く耳当たりのよい音、
ドライブのBGMには最適だとおもう。20年以上たっても古さを感じさせない。
