ショルティの指揮にウィーンフィルものりにのって、「魔笛」を演奏しています。
ドテイコムの「夜の女王」は最高！こんな正確なコロラトゥーラ（すっごい高音）聴いたことないです。ヘルマン・プライのパパゲーノもユーモアたっぷりで最高！
これを聴くと全曲聴きたくなります。オペラ劇場へ行ってみたくなります。

ぜひ聴いてください。そして、ちょっとおすましして劇場へ足を運んでください。

｢魔笛」は、モーツアルトの集大成とも言われるオペラで、それまでの時代の色々な形式の楽曲が盛り込まれ、モーツアルト｢以前」の音楽史も学べるとも言われる、見かけの子供っぽさとは異なる奥行きの深い凄い作品だそうだ。で、幾つか聴いた｢魔笛」のなかで、他を引き離した圧倒的な名演がこれだ。がっちりした、しかし｢歌う」演奏は、まさに形式美の極であり、そして潤いが素晴らしい。最大の聴きものはピラール・ローレンガーのパミーナで、しっとりとした美声と様式美は、数多あるパミーナのなかでダントツの名唱。ドイテコムの夜の女王の圧倒的な声と名唱は、矢鱈持て囃されたグルヴェローヴァが拙く思えざるをえないほど凄い。とにかく二つの難曲中の難曲を「ゆとりを持って」伸びやかに歌っている。といってもその迫真力と密度は凄い。男声陣も、タルヴェッラのザラストロ、バロウズのタミーノ、プライのパパゲーノは何も言うことはない名唱。或る時期日本では、シュライアーのタミーノのイメージが強く、バロウズのやや太目のリリックでは、「可もなく不可もない」と結局評判が良くなかったが、それは不当な評価だった。シュライアーのいささか少年合唱団的なスタイルより、やっぱりバロウズの歌唱がスタンダードな姿だろう。3人の次女、武士、モノスタトスらの脇役も凄い名唱。寸分隙がない配役と歌唱と演奏ながら、そこはウィーンの柔らかで懐かしさのある音が、ショルティの構成力とサービス精神と相俟って、文句のつけようがない全編となっている。

パパゲーノの声が思ったより低すぎて「おおっ！？」と思いました。若くて鼻にかかったような甘い声を期待していると「おおっ！？」となりますが、上手いです。曲は1時間ちょいと（意外に短かったけど)、聞きやすいです。歌唱力もかなり高いし、言葉が分からなくてもストーリーを知っていたので楽しめました。定番の女王のアリアもしびれるほど素敵でした!!ただ･･････。最後のパパゲーノの「パ、パパパパ♪」が好きな人はちょっとがっくりかも。あんまり長くないです･･･。一時間飽きさせない曲なのは確かでした。（歌唱力は全体的に高く、聞いていて楽しかったです）
