1989年10月15日キース縁の地ケルンでのライブ。演奏している12曲中10曲が作曲者であるジャズ・ジャンアントに対するトリビュートとなっているためこの名がある。

スタンダーズ最初のツアーは85年から87年にかけて行われたが、その後のツアーでキースの大病前のものは本作も含め、もはや3人の互いの力量・テンション・スタンスが以心伝心で伝わり、パルスのようなジャズになっている。まさに安心して聴ける出来栄えである。

ただやはり何かに挑戦しているキースのアルバムの方に僕は引かれる。

このアルバムには安心はあるが冒険はない。

ただ何も言わずに、二枚目の５曲目"All the things you are"のイントロを聴いて欲しい。キースの即興にはいろんなタイプがあるがここまで凝縮されたものは他にないと思う。ただただ圧倒される３分間の後、トリオでの演奏が始まったときの爽快感。コレをはじめて聴いたときはひたすらイントロばっかり聴いてました。彼の即興のベストワンと言うと反論されるかもしれないが、最も強い中毒症状を生み出す演奏と思います。

このアルバムの価値があるといてましょう。そりゃ、ラバーマンもジャストインタイムもいいが、キースオリジナルもたいしたことないけど2曲入っているが、である。そもそも、「トリィビュート」なるつもりがあったのかどうか、後付のような気がするのはすぐ前のノルウェイと曲がかぶっているからでして...ぶつぶつ....スタンダーズにこういう企画もの付けは不要と思うのだが....ぶつぶつ...当時は結構あきれれていたのかも...ぶつぶつ...。とにかく「オールザシングスユーアー」である。このスタンダーズvol1で最高に盛り上がる曲はなんとなくスタンダーズのオハコと思っていたのだが、今年のスタンダーズツアーパンフで確認すると、この盤とvol.1以外ではtokyo'96noDVD盤のみの収録であった。ということはCDで聴けるライブ版「オールザシングス~」これのみ、というわけだ。しかもキースの長尺ソロ付き、必然的盛り上がり。ごちそうさまでした。フー。今年の新宿でも「オールザ~」最高でした。このライブが出るまでトリビュートで我慢しとこ？
