ジブリ好きの人に無理には薦めません。が、しかし！キッズ・リターンの大胆なアレンジやDA・MA・SHI絵のロンド風メロディ、鉄琴がやさしいsummerなど、久石譲のアーティスティックな一面が垣間見られる大人な一枚に仕上がっています。
特にキッズ・リターンは白眉な出来の一曲ですよ！

　「キッズ・リターン」と言う曲がこのアルバムに収録されているのですが、このアレンジがいいですね。僕は今まで３つくらいのバージョンを聴いたことがあるのですが、その中でも一番です。
　そして「サマー」、これのアレンジもいいです。映画のサントラではやや長くて中だるみと言うか、退屈なような気がしないでもなかったのですが、こちらはコンパクトにまとめられていてとても聞きやすいです。
　そのほかにも秀逸な楽曲が揃っているので是非聞いてみてください。

久石教信者たちからの評価が高いDEAD Suiteや
初期のアルバム曲MKWAJU等のアンサンブル
アレンジが楽しめます。
大衆音楽家への道しるべになったSummerは、
オリジナルのSummerよりもコンパクトにまと
まっていてオススメです。
