98年は本格的な役者デビューも果たしたが,やはり本業に非凡さが光る。先日のライヴでも収録曲のほとんどを演ったが,一般的に知られてる1のような哀愁バラードは絶品,7のような自作自演のコケティッシュ・ソングも同等のハイ・クオリティ。さすがです!!

これを聴いたときは”やられた！！”って感じでした。
完成度もさることながら、ブルース、ロック、ファンク、ソウルの良いとこ取りに、私などはニンマリしまくり！ツボを心得てますね。

最近のバンドではアメリカのブラッククロウズ、ジョンスペンサーなどいうバンドは良いとこ取りで彼らなりに好きな音楽を消化してかっこいい音楽を作っていますが、山崎氏もそれら次世代を担う世界的な中堅ミュージシャン達にひけを取らないセンス。脱帽です。世界のマニアと勝負できる（笑）

これは６０、７０年代の音楽が好きな音楽少年の夢を再現したようなサウンドです。

歌詞も素晴らしい。メロディは相変わらず芸術的！！

嫌なことがあった日におすすめ。
特に僕はここにいるという曲はいろんな人に反対されても立ち向かっていくという心情があっておすすめです

ドラマ「奇跡の人」に出演した年に出たアルバム。
激動の一年だったようで、このアルバムからは、
スピード感や焦燥感が、感じられます。
サウンド的にも、詞からも。

山崎ファンとしては、実は、最初は抵抗がありました。
なんか、ちょっとオシャレになったんちゃうん！？
かっこつけてるんちゃうん！？
そんな感じ。私をおいて、どんどん先に、遠くに
行ってしまうような感覚に陥ったのかも。
でも、聴き続けるにつれて、大好きになりました。

私個人的には、「ソノラマ」のヴォーカルが好きです。
ちょっとこもるような音できこえる、マイクの使い方。
機材へのこだわりも如実に感じられるようになったのは、
このアルバムからな気がします。

「ド　ミ　ノ」文字と文字の間に、「間」があるんですよ。
