山崎まさよしは
そのアイドル性や女性ミーハーファンの
多さから、色眼鏡で見られてしまい
かなり過小評価されていると思う。

実際このアルバムを聞けば明らかなように、
彼のギターテクニックはもちろん、
楽曲一つひとつの完成度は比類なく高い。

近年のバラード中心の楽曲ではなく、
彼の本当の魅力は
本場ミシシッピのブルースマン達をも唸らせた

ビビッドなパフォーマンスにある。

このアルバムには
そんな彼の魅力が凝縮されている。

このアルバムこそ山崎まさよしの最高傑作ではないかと思う。
その証拠に現在においても彼のライブではこのアルバムに収録されている曲が多く演奏されている。
個々の曲の完成度もさることながら、アルバムにおいてのバランスも凄く心地が良い。アップテンポなナンバー、スロー、バカ歌、バラードがうまい具合に同居している。

また曲順もリスナーを飽きさせないように考え抜かれている。
私にとって最高の一枚。

ここ５年くらいどっぷり漬物？になるくらいファンですが、
それ以前は声が独特であまり好きではありませんでした。

…この曲に出会うまでは…

「Ｏｎｅｍｏｒｅ　ｔｉｍｅ，Ｏｎｅｍｏｒｅ　ｃｈａｎｃｅ」

→「山崎まさよしといえば、この曲」のベスト５にはランクインしそうな名曲。私には永遠の別離ともとれるような気がして…グッときてしまいます。

　他にはライブでも定番、ノリノリの「Ｆａｔ　Ｍａｍａ」や「セロリ」、どこかの街の情景が浮かんできそうな「名前のない鳥」…このアルバムのどれもこれもがオススメ曲ばかりです。
