とにかく気持ちのいいアルバムだ。ＫＡＮは日本人らしからぬ根っからの陽気さを持った人なのだろう。明るく軽いポップスをスカッとやり切っている…という印象だ。また、これくらいにエルトン・ジョンとビリー・ジョエルの影響をモロ出しにされると、かえって気持ちがいい。「まゆみ」「Day By Day」などのメロディーラインや歌いまわしは『Goodbye Yellow Brick Road』の頃のエルトンを、「Tokyo Man」のアレンジやピアノさばきはビリーの「My Life」を彷彿させる。ある種“居直り”とも取れるくらいのこの奔放さが、ＫＡＮの持ち味だと言っていい。もちろん、「愛は勝つ」のヒット以前から「ここまでの曲を書く人なのになぜ売れないんだろう？」と業界では不思議がられていた…という逸話があるくらいの人だ。各曲とも逸品のオンパレードだ。ＫＡＮは日本的な“翳り”のようなものが全くない事がかえって災いし、セールスに結びつかないという事も言えるかもしれないが、それは逆に言えばそれだけ自身の音楽に自信と誇りを持って活動している証拠でもある。このような純粋なアーティストが正当に評価されない限り、この日本に本当の意味でのスタンダード曲は生まれて来ないと思われる。元気ハツラツのＫＡＮにこそ、そのパイオニアになってもらいたいものだ。

このアルバムは最高でした。買ったのは確か中学1年か2年の頃。
今でも聴いています。全然飽きない。
ジャズっぽい曲だったり、KANさん特有の曲だったり、定番のJ-POPだったり。色々、楽しめます。
私のお勧めはMOON。是非聴いてみてください！

KANって「愛は勝つ」以外どんな曲あるんだろう？
といった感じでこのレビューを見ているあなた！
今すぐこのアルバムを購入しましょう。

「まゆみ」、「KANのクリスマス・ソング」はどこかで聞いたことあります。
曲を全部聞いてみてください。しみじみといい曲です。
他には「DayByDay」もしっとりとした名曲です。

としっとりさせておいて、「丸いお尻」で突き落としてくれます。

とりあえずは、このアルバムでKANの世界観に触れてみてください。

全アルバム持ってすが未だ良く聞くアルバムです。とにかくメロディと歌詞が切なくて素晴らしい!!君がいなくなったは隠れた超名曲です。
