　誰よりも不器用ながら、どうしようもなく滋味にあふれたピアノを弾いてしまう
ヴィルヘルム・ケンプ。オルガン弾きでもあったという彼が本領を発揮するのは、
バッハのような陰のある多声音楽だと思うのですが、モーツァルトもハマるものは
ハマります。

　ソナタ第11番の第1楽章や第8番の第2楽章は、ケンプ特有の角がなく温かい
音色とあいまった旋律美が素晴らしく、必聴。当たり前に弾いているだけなのですが、
各声部の役割分担が上手く、そのバランスがどこまでも心地いい。幻想曲に関しても、おおむねその通りです。

　ただし、必要以上に劇性を求めていないため、淡々としているのも事実。
とりわけ、かの有名な「トルコ行進曲」（第11番第3楽章)を聴くためというのであれば、
この盤はお勧めしません。

　あたたかく、実直なモーツァルト。一般的なイメージとは異なりますが、
天才のありえたかも知れない一側面の発露として、聴いてみて下さい。
