エルサレム・スリムの空中分解の跡にマイケル・モンローが結成したアルバムで、メンバーの中に元HANOI ROCKSの盟友であるサム・ヤッファを含むバンドで、伝統的なパンクを楽しそうに演奏しているアルバムで、デッドボーイズのAIN'T NOTHING TO DO、ジョニー・サンダースのI wana be loved、UKサブスのENDANGERED SPECIESといったカバーも含まれて居ます。

歌詞もとても楽しめる一枚になっていますが、強いて言えば、平均的に楽曲のレベルが高い代わりに、マイケル・モンローの楽曲の中で一番好き！といえるほどのインパクトのある楽曲は余り無いかも知れません。
けれど、プロデュースをマイケルが敬愛するリトル・スティーヴンスが行なっていたりで、長く聞いて楽しめる作品だと思います。

元はノイロックス＝先頃再結成してファンを狂喜させたが＝のヴォーカリストのバンド名義のアルバム。

参加しているのはサムヤッファ／ジェイへニング／ジミークラーク／プロデュースをリトルスティーヴンが担当。

音の方はまさに、パンクである。それもかなり激しいやつで、当時の音楽状況にあきれていたマイケルの心情をおもいっきり吐き出したものになっている。

おすすめはジョニーサンダースのカヴァーの６）とジョニーに捧げた３）『くそなやつ程長生きする』＝スカムリヴズオン　が素晴らしい。

このアルバムは爆発するパンクスピリッツがいっぱいつまっている起爆
剤なのである。

そうそう　かすは生き延びるのさ

本作はDedicated to the memory of stiv batorとスティーヴ・ベイターに捧げられています。
元ハノイロックスのマイケル・モンローとサミー・ヤッファが結成したデモリション２３の唯一のアルバム。ストレートなロックンロールが聴きたい人は気に入ると思います。「NOTHIN’S ALRIGHT」を始め、マイケルが拳を握り締めて片足で乗りかかってくる姿が思い浮かぶ力強さ。私はこういうの好きですのでずっと聴いてても飽きませんが、反抗的で攻撃的ですのでロックを聴かない人には少しハードだと思います。
「YOU CRUCIFIED ME」はいい歌です。なんか切ないけど熱意を感じる音と歌でスティーヴが作りそうな歌というか「SAME SHIT DIFFERENT DAY」「ENDANGERED SPECIES」のやるせなさも、どれもそんな感じがしますし、マイケルが本当に影響を受けている、敬意を持っているというのを感じます。「AIN’T NOTHIN’ TO DO」はデッドボーイズで、ハートブレイカーズの「I WANNA BE LOVED」も元気よくカバーしていますし、情熱の迸りは熱いハート、熱い想いの裏返し。それを現す歌が最後にあります。
マイケルが生ギターでしっとりと優しい声で歌い上げます
