言わずと知れたFUNK名盤。
完成度から言えば、スタジオ録音のアルバム群なれど
このライヴならではの臨場感、高揚感は最高っす！

のたうつベースに炸裂するギター、そして混沌としたグルーヴ。
一度ハマったら抜け出せない甘美な魅力の詰まった一枚♪

ジョージのアジテーションに呼応し、徐々に焚き付けるように
熱気を帯びていく最強メンバー達の演奏、コーラス、
そしてうねるような会場の異様な盛り上がり(熱
それら全てが混沌と混ざり合った瞬間をパックした
このライヴ版は、歴史に残るFUNK奇跡の一枚です。

このアルバムはＰ-ＦＵＮＫを知らない人でも、ＦＵＮＫやＳＯＵＬが好きな人には絶対に聴いてもらいたいアルバムです。勿論ＦＵＮＫを殆ど知らない人も歓迎です。このライヴ盤は１９７７年１月１９日、２１日にそれぞれロス・アンゼルス、オークランドで録音された物です。私がこのアルバムを勧める理由は、やはり観客の異常なノリです。勿論Ｐ-ＦＵＮＫ軍団の演奏も素晴らしいのですが、どうしても観客の盛り上がりに耳が行ってしまいます。どういう会場で、どういう風に録音されたのか想像がつきません。観客をここまで盛り上がらせられるのは、さすがＦＵＮＫの神様、ジョージ・クリントンならではです。騙されたと思って購入してみて下さい。そしてこのアルバムが、あなたの愛聴盤になることを心から願っています。

　聴いてビックリ、異様なテンションの高さ。FUNKなんか知らなくたって、十分楽しめるし妙に音がカッコイイ。

　そして、人間の生み出すリズムや音って、やっぱり凄い。もう、知らず知らずにテンションが上がってしまいます。聴いているだけで、一人で勝手にハイになっている。打ち込みじゃ、こうはならないよねぇ。

　ラメキラキラ衣装や、オムツや、星型ベース。
　もう、訳わかんねぇよ。でも、それがいいんだから、尚更訳わかんないねぇ（苦笑）。
