クラリネット協奏曲（K622）が好きで、カラヤンのもの、ベームのものなどを聴きましたが、これがベストです。NEVILLE MARRINERは映画『アマデウス』でも音楽を担当し、「映画の中で使うモーツアルトの音楽は、一音なりとも変更しない」と言い切ったほど、モーツアルトを深く敬愛しています。その彼のこの盤は、３曲入っていますが、どれも素晴らしい。まずソロ楽器の音色の変化が、味わい深い。録音もよく、運指の音はもちろん、ブレスの音まで聴き取れます（もちろん音楽に影響のない範囲で）。３曲は、進むにつれて、ケッヘル番号が若くなる。モーツアルトの作曲年齢が若くなる。しかもすべて長調の曲ですから、聴き心地のいいことったらありません。ヘッドフォンでじっくり聴いてもいいですし、何かしながら部屋のBGMとしても最適。特に２曲目のオーボエの音はどうでしょう。まさに音符に羽が生えて、天使のように飛び回ります。そして第二楽章の緩楽章は、黄金の黄昏、一面の稲穂が揺れる秋景色の世界。素晴らしいアダージョです。３曲目バスーン協奏曲のアダージョは、大理石の宮廷の広間でゆっくりとダンスを踊っている様子が浮かんできます。これら３曲全てが若々しい。モーツアルトの楽譜がそのまま音になっているようです。NEVILLE MARRINERの演奏は、カラヤン、ベームに比べて、テンポが早く、とても軽やか。でもモーツアルトの生涯最後のアダージョ、クラリネット協奏曲の第二楽章は、カラヤンよりもゆったりとした速度で進みます。MARRINERがどれほどこの曲、この楽章に、愛情を込めて演奏しているかが伝わってきます。

このCDは、３曲が収録されてますが、クラリネット協奏曲＝Karl Leister, オーボエ協奏曲＝Heinz Hollinger、バスーン協奏曲＝Klaus Thunemann1とソロ楽器の奏者も一流どころをそろえています。これら３曲全てがSir Neville Marrinerの指揮の下、軽快に演奏されています。Symphonyもいいけど、Mozartの魅力って、こういう小さな明るい曲にも一杯です。MahlarやBrucknerはなんとなく背筋を伸ばして聴かなきゃいけない雰囲気ですが、このＣＤに収録されてる曲はリラックスしてお茶でも飲みながら聴ける気軽さも魅力です。もちろん演奏、録音ともに5つ星の名演であることは言うまでもありません。

　クラリネットの曲で、「クラリネット五重奏曲」とともに最高の作品と呼ばれるこの作品を、カール・ライスターが吹いている豪華な１枚。
　クラリネットに少しでも興味がある人は必聞。
　興味が無くても一度聞いてみてください。
