これはいい！このアルバムの存在自体を知ったのが昨日なんですけど(笑)、ちょうど1st、2ndを買い揃えようかと思っていたところだったんで、これはタイムリーだ！と思い買ってみました。東芝に移籍した中村くんのマーキュリー時代のベストです。

明らかに移籍ベストなんですけど、アルバム２枚しか出してないこともあり、それぞれから７曲、６曲とかなりオリジナルアルバムの本質を知ることのできるボリュームになってます。

しかもその２枚に未収録の「主題歌」、そして1stのタイトルにもなっている「金字塔」(なんでタイトル曲が入ってなかったんだろう？)も収録されていてかなり聴き応えがあります。入門編として最適だと思います。

僕は東芝移籍第１弾「ERA」から聴き始めたんですけど、「この人には今も昔も変わらない良さがあるな」と思いました。スピッツの草野マサムネが「中村くんには同じ匂いを感じる」と言っていたことがありますが、これを聴いて「なるほど」と思いました。

自分の耳だけが頼りなので、うっかりしたことはいえませんが
オリジナルアルバムと聞き比べると、音質が異なります。たとえば「犬と猫」など。こちらに収録されているのはシングルミックスでは？
