確かにビジュアル系にジャンルわけされるだろうが、
彼らの曲は本当に奥が深い。
メロディアスでいてなおかつインストゥルメンタル曲のような、
深さも持っている。
聴く価値は大いにある。

「Ｑｕｅｅｎ」の最初のギターのメロディーを聴いた瞬間に鳥肌が立った事を覚えています。初めて感動した曲です。それまで流行の歌だけしか聴かない自分には、すごい衝撃でした。今となっては音も悪いですし、アルバム全体を通して技術力のなさは否めませんが、それでも感動します。ぜひ、「Ｑｕｅｅｎ」だけでもいいので、興味のある方は聴いてみて下さい。

96年の2nd、メジャーでは初のフルアルバム。インディーズ期のようなわかりやすいダークさではないが、暗く陰鬱、時に狂気を感じさせる。全体に貫かれているのは、純粋で美しいが、あまりに傷つきやすくて脆い、ガラス細工のような心であり、それゆえの絶望・狂気・破滅である。KAZUSHIの麗しくて深み・翳りのある歌声と、繊細でメロディアスだが突き刺さるようなヒステリックさを持つ楽曲たちは本当に素晴らしい。
「Original sin」はQueenのカップリング。アレンジが少し違う。奈落の底へ落ちてくようなギターがカッコよく、ボーカル以上に歌ってる。終末感に溢れる絶望的・背徳的な世界が渦を巻き、聞き手を飲み込んでいく。繰り返す原罪・男女の罪。狂うほどの想い、貴女を壊してしまいそう…。「Queen」はデビューシングル。メロディアスで切ない疾走曲だが、繊細さ・透明感がありすぎて痛々しくて今にも壊れそう…その感覚がとにかくすごい。詩もドラマチックかつ独特の暗さ。「沈黙」は題名と正反対にけたたましい。ハードとかへヴィとか言うより、ヒステリックという語がしっくりくる。「Over flow」は「理想郷」の延長線上という印象。また何かが壊れていく音が聞える…怖くて一人閉じこもる。美しい曲だがある種病的。「Jesus Phobia」は心地良いメロ、輝きを感じさせる曲だが、詩は絶望的。自らの破滅を望むボロボロの心。失くした羽、空は遠すぎる。「VICE」はダーク、「発情期」を思わす部分も。「from zephyr」は地味だが美しいバラード。「人間失格」は攻撃的に迫る。ノイズまみれ。悲鳴。狂気。「BIBLE」は繊細、神聖で壮大なバラード。シンプルながら展開が非常にドラマチックで、生身の人間には辿り着けない高みが見えるような気さえする。「Promise」は王道、疾走感、鋭くメロディアス。V系としてのカッコよさのツボを綺麗に押さえてる。「re-born」はインストと語り。
