タイトルはファーストになってるが実際にリリースされたのはアルバムの４枚目である。
このアルバムではメンバー４人のヴォーカルで構成されている。
素敵な天使（ユウ岡崎）や娘（クーニャン）、夢の中だけ、悪魔の贈り物（内海利勝）がヴォーカルをとっている。
聞いていただければわかると思うが、単におまけで収録したんじゃないとがわかる。

たった二年半しか活動しなかったが、もう少し活動を続けていたらもっと別の次元にあったと推測される。
それだけハイ・クオリティなアルバムと言えるだろう。またコアな矢沢ファンならわかると思うがズッコケ娘とカモンベイビーはライヴのオープニング曲として、今でも歌われているロックン･ロール ナンバーである。

ＣＡＲＯＬ（子供たちに夢を）のナンバーでピアノを弾いているのは矢沢本人である。
キャロルはファンキーモンキーベイビーやルイジアンナだけのバンドじゃないとういうことがわかるアルバムなので是非お勧めしたいアルバムである。

ロックンローラーのイメージがあるキャロルですが、このアルバムでは、キャロルらしいロックよりも、メンバー全員が作詞作曲に参加し、色々なタイプの曲を聴かせてくれます。一曲目のピアノ中心のバラードは、映画「キャロル」のサントラで、のっけから雰囲気がムーディーで、ノリノリロックンロールを期待したファンは戸惑ったかもしれませんが（僕も最初はそうだった）、全体的な出来は良い、と思います。ジョニーの「雨のしずく」なども、しっとりとしていて良いし、また「ズッコケ娘」は一番キャロルらしくてカッコイイです。ユウとウッチャンのボーカルも、上手くはないけど味があって良い。過去のイメージをから脱却するため、タイトルをファーストにしたのでしょう。その意図は充分成功していて、単なるロッカーの集まりでないのを見せつける、彼等の実力の程が見てとれます。

矢沢は、ソロ初期につながるような複雑なコード進行やメロディを意識的に出し始め、
実際「甘い日々」のようなシャレた佳曲もいくつか書いているが、それだけ。
単に整合性がないだけなのに、ホワイトアルバムを引き合いに出し褒めちぎるのは明らかに過大評価。
全体としてブルーハーツのPANよりは聴けるかな？という程度です。

分裂寸前のバンドが出した寄せ集め以上の意味はあまりない。
