１、２、３、11がアルバム未収録のシングル、残りがファストとセカンドアルバムからセレクトされている。代表曲が聴けるので超お勧めだ。このあとのマーク２とあわせて揃えると、スタジオ録音源４４曲中４０曲がそろう。

キャロルのベストアルバムとしては超おすすめです。解散間際の曲はあまり入っていませんが、初期のエネルギッシュな名曲がこれで俯瞰できます。「ライブ　イン　リブヤング」および、「キャロル　ファースト」、「レア　トラックス」と合わせて持つとよいでしょう。その３枚で、キャロルの歴史がカバーできます。おすすめのベストアルバムで、お値打ちです。

あの頃　キャロルのコピーをしてたバンドなら　必ず持ってたこのアルバム。
初めて聞くならこれ１枚でキャロルフリークを名乗っても大丈夫、ダサイ曲は入ってないので、安心しておすすめです。
そして今４０代の元キャロルバンド卒業生たち、今でもこの　アルバムのバンドスコアが手にはいる。
