約10年前、旅行先の札幌で偶然見つけて買いました。そのとき既に映画を見た当時から10年くらい経っていましたが、見つけてとてもうれしかったのを覚えています。今でもよく聴きます。自分が中学生の頃見た映画なので、その頃のことを思い出すからでもあるかもしれませんが、坂本龍一氏の作品の中でも、きれいな、小さなものを慈しむような、聴いていて心に響く音楽だと思います。

こんなに良いアルバムがなぜ廃盤なの?!と思うほどの傑作です！

この映画が公開されたのは確か小学生のとき。
ＣＭで流れたメインテーマが気に入ったという理由で、
ネコ好きでもないのに映画を見てしまった。
数年後、｢子猫物語｣も｢戦メリ｣も同じ作曲者だと知り、
｢ああ、私はこの人が好きなんだ｣と思いました。まさに初恋。

坂本龍一にしてはほのぼのとした、そしてクラシカルな作品。
他の作曲者の曲もあって楽しめます。
陽だまりの中にいるような、色彩的な音はさすが。
ファンの方は、在庫があるうちに入手すべき、ですよ！

かわいらしい！の一言につきる。坂本の映画音楽は壮大でやや難解になりがちだがこの作品では全体的にかわいらしく構成されており気軽に楽しめる。共同作品のほうが教授は力を発揮できるのかも？ラストエンペラー然り。オススメです。

仔猫を虐待して溺れさせてしまいには殺して撮影された映画のBGMです。ある意味日本映画の伝説と化した作品です。完全なホラーミュージックですね。

このCDを入手するのにはかなり苦労しました。
