内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

レディース・ギター・バンド、デイジーのソングライター/ヴォーカリストの初ソロ・アルバム。プロデュースとエンジニアリングを曽我部恵一が担当している。ピアノの弾き語りを中心とした、いまどきシンプルすぎるサウンドに曲や歌に対する自信のほどがうかがえる。その歌の世界はなかなかにストイックでピュアな印象を与えるものだが、それだけにこのサウンドはやや地味すぎかもしれない。実際、ヴァイオリンが入る「波打ち際」や、ドラム・ループがボトムを支える「夏」などのような曲のほうが歌に入りやすかった。 (星野吉男) --- 2000年09月号

いわゆる夏っぽい音楽とは正反対の位置にあるピアノ弾き語りアルバム。デイジーよりも個人的な詞とメロディー，そして何よりその声に出口のない迷路に迷い込んだような眩暈を感じます。ある種排他的な音楽だとは思いますが。曽我部恵一プロデュース。
