某和製ロックのガイド本には酷評されていたが、自分は70年代の関西の音楽シーンを語る上では絶対に外せ無いアルバムだと確信している。収録曲が佳作秀作揃いで捨て曲が無い事、そして当時GASという超イカシたバンドを率いていた石田長生のプロデュースが、大塚のキャッチーな部分をうまく引き出している事。以上のニ点は大きなポイントだ。骨太さだけが彼の魅力ではないのだ。発売当時大阪のミニコミ誌「EAZY」に、大塚のインタビューが掲載されていた。本盤の背景が彼自身によって語られており、本盤をより深く理解する為の手掛かりとなる重要なものと記憶している。次回リイシュー時には是非発掘し、ライナー内にでも収録してもらいたい。「俺は何にも属さない」と歌われたタイトル曲の通り、フォークでありジャズでありロックでありブルーズでもある大塚まさじのドラマが10シーン。またオリジナル音源を残していないGASの演奏を聴く事が出来る貴重な記録でもある。真の音楽ファンの方是非に。
