大塚まさじの最高傑作です。このセカンドアルバムが一番まさじさんのコクを表していると思いますし、歌詞もすばらしいです。アナログでいうＡ面（Ｍ1から5）の流れは、いま聴いても非のうちどころがなく、この滋味はそうそうあるものではありません。ＤｙｌａｎIIの名曲群も勿論たかく評価すべきですが、このソロアルバムも不朽の名作です。関西フォークが誇る遺産です。星５つでは到底たりません。自信を持ってオススメ致します。

　大塚まさじさんの音楽は三十過ぎてから聴きはじめて、音楽的にもそうですが、人間的にも凄く魅力のある人で、すっかり虜になりました。
　今はギター一本でどこへでも出向く、一人旅ライブが活動のメインになっています。今では「一輪の花」「風のがっこう」とラブ＆ピースな目をつむれば自然のさわやかな風を感じさせるサウンドが中心になってますが、これはそれらと打って変わって都会の冷たい風を感じさせる若き日の叫びが聴かれます。
　大塚まさじさん本人から聞いた話なのですが、当時出したくないレコードだったそうで「出来ることなら回収したかった」そうです。その理由が「自分の暗い部分ばかりが目立つから」ということです。聴く側の思惑とは裏腹に作り手の思いも複雑だったようですね。でも、十年位たってから聴き直すと、その凄さに我ながら驚いたそうです。
　大塚さんに言われて初めて気付いたのですが、このレコードの演奏には全くエフェクトがかけられてないのです（最低限の整音はしてるでしょうが）。大塚さんの声のそれぞれの楽器のダイレクトな響きが、聴く者を圧倒します。確かに暗い内容でしょうが、それが大塚まさじさんの飾らない内面をさらけ出してるようで逆に心地よいです。この当時の大塚さんのアクの強い歌い方やこのドカンとした音圧のサウンドを生理的に受け付けない人もいますが、私はあのヴォーカルは大塚さんの当時の正直な叫びと思います。大塚さんはいつもサウンドに対しては正直な人です。その時々の自分なりの表現方法でサウンド作りをしています。時にはそれが不格好に現れたりもしますが、「風が吹いていた」はそれがいい意味で形になっていると思います。
　このレコードを作ったミュージシャンやスタッフが当時ほとんど二十代だった事には驚きを隠せずにいられません。それ位完成度の高い作品だと思います。
