有名曲、「ラーメンたべたい」を含む名盤。
「きょうのわたくし」「素顔」では彼女の鋭利な感性がかいま見える。
「終りの季節」で和む。
大曲「GREENFIELDS」で大きな愛を歌い上げる。山下達郎のスケールの大きなバックコーラスが圧巻！

　矢野顕子にしかできないとさえ思わせる童謡のカバーには、彼女の才能と魅力が最も表れるのではないかと思う。このアルバムでも「おもちゃのチャチャチャ」でそれが発揮されている。

　M-2,M-4,M-5,M-8,M-10は、ゆるやかな心地よいリズムの曲でまとまっている。その点では、タイトルで有名な「ラーメンたべたい」は、このアルバムの中では浮いているようにも思う。

　矢野顕子はアルバムごとに様々な才能を見せるので比較は難しいが、ポップな仕上がりという意味では、このアルバムが一番完成度が高いと思う。

5.0 out of 5 stars 「ラーメンたべたい」が、強力すぎます。, 2006/9/25
下世話な推測で申し訳ないけれど、私生活で大変だったであろう予測が、ビシビシ伝わってきてしまう「ラーメン食べたい」が、彼女の歌の中で一番好きです。ぐしゃぐしゃになって泣きながら道端を走っているようなこの歌が身につまされます。それでも前を向こうとしている、何とかして修復出来ないかと泣き叫んでいる、アレンジも声も歌も。

そんなどうしようもない泣き顔で一生懸命ラーメン食べてる姿が容易に映像で出てきて、曲を聴きながら何度も何度も泣きました。（ちょっと共鳴しすぎかも）

もともとアッコちゃんは「毒入り最中」のような迫力で、２５年以上もファンなんですが、やはりピアノの弾き語りのほうが大好きで、一番彼女本来の力を感じます。アルバムとしては「ピアノナイトリー」が一番で、曲なら、このアルバムバージョンの「ラーメン食べたい」が力が入りすぎてる感じが、異様に泥臭くて大好きです。

こんなやりすぎのロックさが、また欲しいと願うファンのエゴでもあります。
