スガシカオに比較するとこちらはブレイクしていないのはなぜだろう。同じような路線を狙っているのにね。その理由はたぶん。わかりやすいかどうかだろう。アルバムのサウンドはインディーくささがかなりこびりついていて音を作り込むという感じになっている。たとえると『フレクサブル』のころのスティーブバイに近い。閉じた＝閉鎖的な部分が解消されたらいっきにブレイクであると思われる。１０点中５点

発売してから何年もたつが、時間がたっても「古い」と思わせない。
街にあふれる音楽とは違うけど浮いていない感じ。絶妙。
何より、彼がこだわるメロディーがキレイで飽きることはない。

デビュー曲「Sweet Rendez-Vous」は名曲です。
不思議なアレンジ、独特な歌声、不思議な歌詞。
このアルバムは全体的に不思議な空気に包まれています。
現在ベストアルバムが発売されていますが、静かな曲より少しテンポのある音楽が好きな私はベストよりこちらの方がお気に入り。

メジャーより確かにマニア寄りかもしれませんが、聴けば聴くほどこのミュージシャンの魅力が出てくるので、何度も楽しめる一枚です。
