　一世を風靡したアニメ「ベルサイユのばら」のサントラ&名場面音楽集。同アニメのオープニングソング「薔薇は美しく散る」が、長年、強く印象に残っていた。何度かＣＤを探したが、この度、amazon.co.jpでようやく探し当て購入する事ができた。いささかセンセーショナルな出だしで始まる「薔薇は美しく散る」は、フランス革命に翻弄され、激動の人生を送った主人公、オスカルのテーマソングである。曲調が終始ドラスティックな曲調であるのが、また新鮮さを感じさせる。その他、このアルバムには、主人公オスカル役の声優、田島令子氏が唄う「愛ゆえの哀しみ」という曲も収められている。田島氏は、口跡がハッキリとしていてなおかつ美声。田島令子氏といえば、幾多のＴＶドラマでの母親役の印象が特に強いだけに驚かされた。
　名作アニメ「ベルサイユのばら」ファンの人にはお買い得なＣＤであると言える。

ヘッドホン等で聴くと、９番から１０番に変わったとき、ステレオからモノラルになるため、多少の違和感があります。でもすぐに慣れます。「あったあった」というＢＧＭがけっこうあった反面、「あの時かかっていた曲がない」とか「いつかかったんだ？」という曲もありましたが、全体的にはいいと思います。オープニングとエンディングは２種類入っていて、１種類ずつフルコーラスで入っています。もちろん、かの「オスカールっ！」も。３番は、静かですがきれいな曲です。田島令子さんと鈴木宏子さんが歌ってらっしゃいますが、私は最初、どっちがどっちだかわかりませんでした...　お２人とも、高くきれいな歌声だと思います。

はるか昔、ＢＧＭ集のＬＰを持っていました(^^;)
ＣＤで見つけた時は嬉しかったなぁ…
いまだに『優しさの贈り物』は名曲だと思ってます。
