玄人だけが知っているフォークソングの奥深さ。
隠れた名曲「プカプカ」が収められているこの１枚。
あなたのコレクションに並べてみてはいかがでしょう。
渋いのが好みのあの人が、感心すること間違いなし。

感動のコミック「Ｄr．クマひげ」の中で、
クマ先生がスナックで歌っているのが「プカプカ」です。
桃井かおり女史も、この曲が大好きで、

コンサートでも披露し、ライブアルバムにも収録されています。

このアルバムを聴くと、なぜか日向の匂いを思い出す。
夕陽をあびながら友達の下宿で歌っていた『プカプカ』・・・。
西岡恭蔵という人は、かざらない優しさをもった人でした。
今頃、天国で新しいバンドでもくんでいるのでしょうね。

昔のフォークという括りではなく、優れた歌として聞きたいアルバムです。西岡恭蔵さんは悲しい最期を遂げましたが、いつの時代の誰でもが自分なりの「ディラン」という場所を持っており、また持たなければならないことをこのアルバムは教えてくれます。
