私が岡崎律子さんを知ったのが、このアルバムの「おはよう」でした。
たまたま聞いていたラジオから流れてきたこの曲に私は、ほれ込んでしまいました。
やわらかい声に、ふっとその情景が浮かぶような、日常的な感覚の歌詞。
何気ない場面や気持ちを、自然に歌詞にしているのが、印象的でした。
その切り取り方はとても女性的で、共感したり、上手いなぁと感心したり。
彼女の曲は、ただやさしかったり夢見がちなのではなくて、そこからしゃんと背筋を伸ばして、歩いていこうというような、前向きさが素敵だと思います。
歌声ももちろんだけど、彼女の歌詞が特に好きでした。もっといろんな曲を聴きたかった。
私の周りではやはり男性のファンの方が多いですが、もっと女性に聴いてほしいなと思います。

この方の歌声・歌詞・メロディはどれを取っても、どこから見ても、
『優しさ』そのものであることに疑いはありません。
私たちの日常の中で、今まで気づいていなかった感情を
自分自身に悟らせてくれます。
「シンシア・愛する人」は
「人は誰もそうだよ
　愛する人を　どこまででも守りぬきたい
　その笑顔がなによりの幸せだから」

という歌詞で終わります。
また、「Good Luck!」では
「夢がある　今日より明日は近づいていたい」
本当にそう思いますよね。
彼女ほど心に素直な詩を書ける人は、いないでしょう。
その彼女は、５月５日にこの世を去ってしまいました。
残念でならないです。

岡崎さんの音楽は「詩」＋「曲」＋「声」そして心。
自分を大切にしながら他人を（友人、恋人など）応援する歌が
多いですね。

この中で「仲なおり」という曲があります。
この曲の内容が自分の人生と重ねて聴いていた時期がありました。
悲しく、切なく、その中のわずかな希望を信じて・・・

あれから何年もたち、今ではあまり聴きません。
昔を思い出すのが辛いから・・

・・・・話題はかわりますがこのアルバムはＰＯＰな曲が
　　　　前のアルバムより多いです。
　　　　「おはよう」「ひとりではつまらない」「電話をちょうだいね」
　　　　などです。

それにしてもこんなに心を楽にさせてくれるシンガーソングライターは
なかなかいません！岡崎さんの音楽が僕の人生を助けてくれました。

一応全部アルバムを持っています。こんど２枚組のコンプリート
ＢＥＳＴ版とか出してほしいなぁ。絶対かうよ！
