97年当時、公称40万枚売れたらしいイラーバティ。

私は林原さんのCDを聴いて思ったのですが、
歌唱力も勿論あるのですが、他のアーティスト
(大塚愛や倉木麻衣、宇多田ヒカル、他)のように、次のフレーズにいく時の息を吸い込む不快な音が一切なく、とても聴き心地が良い、安定した歌い方をされる人なのだな、と思いました。

声優さんだから発声、特にマイクを通しての発声のプロなのだな、と。
このアルバムに収録されている「Reflection」
林原さんの曲の中で一番キツい メッセージ性があると思うのですが、ベストアルバムに入らなかった、何故でしょう。残念です。
この曲がカウントTVに流れてた時の映像も覚えてる位、大好きな歌なんですけどね。

屋久島の素晴しい自然と共に
心身を魂の底から癒してくれる綺麗なアルバムです。
「Good Luck!」を始まりに、（当時）初の本人作曲の「Thirty」などを交え、
聞き手を励ましながら、リフレッシュさせてくれます。
そんな柔かいアルバムオリジナル曲と
力強いシングル曲（林原さんの名曲ばかり！）が折り合って
また不思議な物語を生み出しています。

最後の「幻影（マーヤー）」などまさに屋久島のことを歌った曲です。
是非7200年の神秘に触れてみてください。

どの曲も最高にいいのですが、「デジャヴ」を聴いていると元気が出てきます。最近の曲（OVERSOULとか）もイイのですが、デジャヴは何度聴いても飽きないし最高です！！
というか、「Iravati」 全部最高です！！買うべし！！
