内田有紀のシングルを、ほぼ年代順に集めたベストアルバム。こうしてみると彼女はその知名度と比較して、歌の大ヒットには恵まれなかったように思うのですがどうでしょう？

「幸せになりたい」という曲が大好きで購入しました。本当にこの曲での内田有紀は最高です。作者である広瀬香美のバージョンも聴きましたが、僕のランキングでは圧倒的に内田バージョンの方が上です。歌唱力の問題ではなくて、せつなさを伝える表現力が違う気がするのです。

かつてある女性の知人がこの歌について、タイトルといい曲の感じといい「痛くてイヤだ」と言っていましたが、それはこの曲に対する裏返しの賛辞ともとれなくありません。
彼女の他の曲でこういうミラクルが起きにくいのはどうしてでしょうか？音楽とは本!当に複雑なものです。

ベストというものの"TENCAを取ろう"と"only you"の2曲だけがそれに値する気がするので、ファンでなければ買わなくてもいいかも。作曲陣は豪華なんだけどなんか活かしきれていない。最後の曲の歌詞は度肝を抜かれるほどに斬新でした。

このアルバムを聞くと改めてイイ曲もらってるなぁって思います。筒美京平、小室哲哉、広瀬香美、奥居香と本当に豪華な作家陣を迎えているシングル曲は全部すばらしいです。歌も芝居もそつなくこなしてた印象でちょっとおもしろみにかけていたような気がする内田有紀ですが、このアルバムは必聴です。
