新作のファンで、昔の曲が聞きたくて買いました。
最強の曲ラインナップ！ラジオ版・実写版から、超電動ロボ まで！（電動って・・^_^;）　　
これに新作マキシシングル（六本木･･･版）を揃えれば
あなたのソングコレクションは完璧です。
ラジオ版からFXまでの主題歌が各時代を感じさせ、
通しで聞くと、長きにわたり愛され続け、今尚新作が
作られるという、原作の偉大さを改めて感じます。
特に、旧作オリジナルサウンドトラックからの収録である、
5.　　「グリコ、グリコ、グリコ~」付きオープニング
このオリジナル版主題歌は、当時レコード発売が無かったそうです。知らんかったー。
7.　　「正太郎進め~」のインストで、番組冒頭で前回のあらすじ
「鉄人28号の時間です」のナレーションのBGMが、お薦めです。
ただ、ライナーノーツでは簡単な説明(各曲１行程度)しか
ない。もう少し詳しく説明して欲しかったです。

上記曲目リストの説明に誤りがある。
（１）はラジオドラマのもの、鈴木厚作詞は原作掲載誌の一般公募の当選作。
（２）〜（４）は実写版ＴＶのもの、初め高毛礼　誠のものを後に児童合唱団のもので放送。
（５）〜（１１）アニメ版のもの（いわゆる初代）（７）の「正太郎マーチ」に後から歌詞をつけて（９）の「進め正太郎」となった。（１１）は朝日ソノラマの挿入歌。（５）と（８）は最後に「グリコ、グリコ、グリコ」と入るかないかの違い。（５）が放送用で入る。（１２）〜（１５）は新しいカラー版のもの。（１６）〜（１９）は鉄人２８号ＦＸのもの。
2000年３月発売のため今井版や劇場用のものは入っていないがそれまでの主題歌の集大成として鉄人２８号ファン必聞の一つといえよう。特にラジオ版やＴＶ実写版はこれ以外では古いレコードでしか聞けない。
