2.0 out of 5 stars 曲は良いのですが, 2007/12/2
椎名恵さんの美しい歌声と重みのある歌詞のOP,EDは何度聴いても飽きが来ませんし、
ストーリーのイメージに合ったとても重厚で深いBGMは、聞いていてとても感慨深いです。

ただ、「Sound Sketch ２」にも言える事なのですが、短い曲を数曲まとめて
「１リスト」として収録してあるのが不可解でした。それも本編の流れに沿った
まとめならまだ良いのですが、序盤と終盤のクライマックスの曲が一緒になっていたり、
こんな曲何処で使ってたっけ？というような物語のイメージから大きく外れるコミカルな
曲が混ざっていたりで、OVAを観た人が通しで聞いていると相当に興醒めな印象は
否めませんし、お陰で気に入った曲だけを編集する事ができません(T~T)

わざわざ２枚に分けるほど曲数多くないですし、まだまだ収録されていない音源（シュ
タイナーがアンディーの亡骸を抱えて慟哭する場面や、クライマックスシーンに多用された
ミーシャのケンプファーがアレックスがある基地に向かって侵攻開始〜ＭＳ戦、ラストの
アレックス対ザクFZ戦など）も少なくないと思いますので、出来れば一曲ずつきちんと分けて、
未収録曲もかき集めて「完全版」としてもう一度作り直して欲しいです。

あとジャケットのレイアウトも、双昔前のTVアニメのレコードジャケットみたいで
難ありです。「M.S.ERA」の画集から転用するとか、似たようなイラストを描き起こして
もらうとか良い方法は沢山あるでしょう。もっと作品のイメージを大事にして作って
いただきたいものです。

このＣＤにはポケットの中の戦争の音楽のだいたい半分が収録されていました。私がこのＣＤで一番好きな曲は、１０番目に収録されている｢虹を追って」という曲が好きです。他には、｢食卓におけるカノン｣という曲が好きです。皆さんもこのＣＤを買ってこの曲を聞いてみてください、いい曲ですよ。
