5.0 out of 5 stars 意外なことに悲劇でした, 2005/6/5
中華英雄で名前を覚えたばかりのイーキン・チェンが主演だというだけで、何の前情報もなく見たら、ジャッキー・チェン製作だった。これだけでも気分が盛り上がっていたところに、偶然これを見る前に見たスパイチームに出ていた陳小春とテレンス・インがいるじゃありませんか。この作品をきっかけに小春とテレンスが好きになりました。

面白いです！　製作がジャッキーだっていうことで贔屓目になっているのかもしれませんけど（笑）。いやでも、本当に面白かったです。
ただ、もうちょっとコメディ要素の強いものだと思ってました。切なさの残るラストです。それでも後味の悪いものではないので、見終わった後、素直に、『面白かった！』って思えました。

この作品への出演がきっかけに悪役のオファーが増えたというテレンス、なかなかキレた悪役を好演しております。必見。英語台詞が様になっているところはさすがというべきか。アクションシーンの多くが吹き替えなのはご愛嬌ということで（笑）。

日本語吹替キャストが井上和彦・小杉十郎太・折笠愛・成田剣と豪勢なのも声優好きには嬉しい。

ジャッキーチェン製作です。ハリウッド映画を見慣れちゃうとセット他色んな部分で安っぽさが気になります。映像もなんかクリアーじゃない気がしました。でもケリーチャンが可愛い。アサヤンで「香港に行ってどうしても女優になりたい」って挑戦してた樋口アスカが冒頭に出ててびっくりしました。

一見シンプルなストーリーと思わせておいて、ストーリーが突然思わぬ方向に流れ始めます。基本的にはカンフーアクションものではあるのですが、先の読めない展開で楽しめました。
