　TODの世界観・雰囲気と見事にマッチした、爽やかな曲です。ゲームではアレンジしたものが使用されていましたが、オリジナルの方は爽やかさを残しつつも、音に重みがあり、濃厚なものとなっています。個人的にはこちらのオリジナルの方がオススメです。この曲はDEEN、そしてテイルズシリーズの曲の中でもベスト1だと言っても過言ではありません。

この曲はPlayStationソフトのテイルズ オブ デスティニーの主題歌です。そしてこのデスティニーがPlayStation2でリメイクされることになり、主題歌もそのまま「夢であるように」が使われる事が決定しました。CMでこの曲が流れるのはDEENファンとして嬉しい限りです。

爽やかな曲調と池森さんの歌詞がとても良いです。そしてサビの盛大な盛り上がりがとても好きです。今よりだいぶ昔にリリースされた曲ですが、いつ聞いても色褪せない名曲だと思います。

ちなみにこのテイルズ オブ デスティニーで使われる「夢であるように」はゲームのOPで流れるのですが、CDとは若干違う点がありますので、CDとどこが違うのかと聞き比べのも楽しいと思います。

リメイクを期にこの名曲を聞いてみてはいかがでしょうか?

DEENの13thシングルです。
PS用ゲーム「Tales of Destiny」にテーマソングとして提供されました。
ドラムスの宇津本さん（後に脱退）が持ち寄ったサビのモチーフをゲームの世界観にあわせて肉付け。メンバー全員でのメロディーメイクにより誕生した曲です。

幻想的なA.Bメロから爽快感溢れるハ長のサビへ展開、映画的なスケール感のある楽曲に仕上がっています。人との出逢いの奇跡、未来への希望を高らかに歌い上げるヴォーカルは感動的。この曲をフェイバリットナンバーに挙げるファンは多いです。

また、この曲での共同作業の際に、大ヒットしたベスト盤「SINGLES+1」(98年)の構想が本格的に持ち上がることになったようです。この曲はDEENのターニングポイントといっても過言ではありません。

制作における過程、楽曲の完成度の高さ…、いろんな意味でDEENを代表する曲です。
