今回のアルバムは,爽やかな青いジャケットに似合わず,中身はロックからスカまで,幅広い物に仕上がった！前からサンバやソウル系の曲はアルバムでチョコチョコ見えていたが、スカは初めて。ロックナンバー｢この闇を突き抜ける｣は,昔の大黒摩季シングル曲らしいインパクトある曲。すべての曲が違ったジャンルに属しており,大黒の遊び心が感じられる作品

　「ＭＯＴＨＥＲ　ＥＡＴＨ」は、歌詞がないがすごく素晴らしい、ご本人も歌詞をつけてみたもののやっぱりないほうが良いということでこのようになったそうだが，ホントに歌詞なんてなくても十分過ぎるほど良い！
　「この闇を突き抜ける」はシングル化できるほど素晴らしいものである。

　「ボクらのしらないところで」はアップテンポなメロディが非常に心地良い。

これをロックと呼ぶのはストーンズファンに失礼だね。歌謡曲だね、本質は『化粧＝アレンジがロックっぽくしてるからね』。声がパワフルだからってロックとは限らない。ダンスポップ~アリーナロック系までなんでもこなす器用ですね。サウンドにはこだわらない人向けですかね。サウンドには鈍感な人向けですね。耳から耳へ素通りしていく楽曲たち。アレンジも１０年以上古いけど、ソングライティングセンスはちょいと光る部分はないね。巧妙なマーケッティング手法の売り出しかたで流通しているシンガーのにおいが強いね。楽曲は御本人がなされているようでして、歌詞は何が伝えたいのかいまいちわかりませんね。
『庶民派シンガー＆ライトユーザー向け』。１０点中４点
