このアルバムの一番の魅力は何と言ってもFIELD OF VIEWの「突然」「君がいたから」「DAN DAN　心魅かれてく」のセルフカバーが入っていることです。３曲ともアレンジが加えられていますが、中でも「君がいたから」はアコースティックな感じの仕上がりで気に入ってます。「突然」はリクエストアルバムにも選ばれていましたし、アレンジもすごくキレイです。

「マイフレンド」で始まるところもいいですね。この曲を聴くと「スラムダンク」を連想してしまう人も多いはず・・・（私もその一人）久々に聴いてみるのもいいと思いますよ。

数あるザードの楽曲のなかでも、特に好きなアルバムでした。
坂井さんのやさしく、さわやかな歌声が好きでした。
それだけに、この度の訃報が残念です。

ザードは、私の青春のすべてでした。坂井さんの逝去は、私の青春の終わりのような気がします。

坂井泉水さんへ
これからも、ずっと歌を聴きつづけます。
あなたが大好きです。

謹んで、ご冥福をお祈りいたします。

　２曲目の「君がいたから」はFIELD OF VIEWが歌っていたけれど、坂井さんの作詞です。FIELD OF VIEWの彼らも素敵にこの曲を歌っていましたが、坂井さんの歌うバージョンも切ない感じでとてもいいです。「振り向けば・・・いつも君がいたから」「でも心の中に・・・君がいたから」「目を閉じると・・・そこに君がいたから」。学生時代から、いろんな節目でＺＡＲＤの曲がありました。「心を開いて」は当時、ポカリスエットのＣＭソングで映像がちょっとしたドラマみたいで良かったです。あの日、あの時、あの場所でいつも、心の中にＺＡＲＤがいてくれたから。これから新しい曲に出会えなくても今まで坂井さんが残してくれた一つ一つの曲と詩を大切にしたいと思います。
