｢さぁ~待ってました。｣　日本音楽会のTOPを走り続けてきた大黒摩季が,一先ず止まってこの作品を通してこれまでの自分を見返した初ベストアルバム。選曲は自分自信で行い,どの曲も聞いたことのある曲ばかり。安室奈美恵や小柳ゆきなどが憧れた大黒の集大成！

当時のリミックスって音数を増やしがちだったんですけど、大黒摩季は減らすやり方をしたんですよね。「あなただけ見つめてる」なんて最後の方はアカペラになるし。それが妙に緊張感を生み出して、曲にシャープさを与えていると思う。またリミックスした曲を挟み込む形で収録しているから、アルバムとしても統一感ある仕上がり。大黒摩季初のベストアルバムなので、なんとなく興味のあるリスナーはもちろん、ファンの皆さんもリミックスで納得できると思います。ボックス仕様、ミニ写真集付きというのも嬉しい。

まちがいなく大黒摩季のベストアルバムのなかでは、一番のベストアルバムだと思われます。そして自分が中学生のお金がない中で、なけなしのお年玉で買った思い出のアルバムでもあるわけで、一際思い入れも非常に強いです。これを買った当初、ホントにこればっか聴いていました。彼女の声量の凄さはいわずもがな、詩のセンス、どれも抜群な曲ばかりが入ってます。
そしてこのベストには他のにはあんまり入ってない隠れた？名曲「Rockｓ」が入ってます。全曲いいですが自分個人の思い入れの深さでは、
「あなただけみつめてる」と「永遠の夢に向かって」です。
最近は喉を壊されてるようでかなりしゃべってる時辛そうですが、いまだに第一線でがんばっているので、応援したいです。
