「ニャオニャオ甘えて」のふにゃふにゃしたタイトルロゴに、「桑の実赤い実故郷の実」をソツなく、しかしやや投げやりに歌っているヤング・ペットの諸君が黄色い線入りの黒いジャージ（？）でキメている写真をコラージュしたジャケが絶妙。がむしゃらに情熱（パッション）をぶつけつつ、どこからかじわじわと空気が漏れているかのような港孝也の２曲。子門真人を彷佛とさせる巻き舌ヴォーカルで歌われるムード歌謡「さすらい未練町」。「はぐれコキリコ」の遠い日のこだまのようなハイトーンボイスに、軽いビートがきいた「めぐり逢えても」。しみじみととぼけた味わいの珍佳曲「涙のラーメン」。20年早かったかもしれない沖縄メレンゲ「旅に出るんだって」。藤本卓也作曲のスケール大きなバラード「波」。聴き手を虚無の彼方へと誘う、ツェッペリンとはなんの関係もない「天国への階段」。エイプリル・フールによるレアなインスト「ジャズ・ロック」。そして大阪万博グッズ中、最も探している人が少ないモノの一つ、という説もある問題作「万博でヨイショ」……。

昭和歌謡の裏面というか、裏のさらに裏で鈍く光を放つレコードたちに光を当てる、というより、まとめて供養する特殊企画、とでもいった方が近いのだろうか。もしも心が騒ぐなら、手に入るうちに手に入れておくべきなのかも。
