Daigo(Dr)、Mari(Vo)、Yujin(G)、Genki(Vo)からなるbabamania（ババメイニア）の1stミニ・アルバム。Genkiの小気味良いラップとMariのセクシーでキュートなヴォーカルに洗練されたファンクロックが強烈なインパクトを放つ1枚。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

中学校からの同級生だったgenkiとyujinによって結成され、97年より現在のメンバーで活動を続けるミクスチャー・ロックな5人組。男女のツイン・ヴォーカルを擁した編成が特徴で、二人のコンビネーションは、このバンドの聴きどころといってもいいだろう。で、サウンドのほうはというと、80年代、90年代のさまざまなサウンド、ムーヴメントを胸いっぱいに吸い込んで、しっかりと自分のものにしているな、といった印象。メンバー全員が20代後半ということもあり(?)若年寄なツボのおさえ方も◎。 (兒玉常利) --- 2000年06月号

サウンドにがっしりとした重量感があり、babamaniaの持ち味が凝縮された一枚。
特にベースは圧巻の一言。
このバンドの特徴の一つである男女のツインボーカルも、今回もメリハリをつけていてかなり効果的。

「pornmuzik」は一般向けサウンドに寄りだけれど、こちらはコアなファン向けといった感じなので、babamaniaをもっと深く知りたい！と思う方は買ってみてはいかがでしょうか？
