   1999年12月に発表された、モンパチことモンゴル800の1stアルバム。発売1か月足らずで、地元沖縄の年間チャートのトップ10に喰い込むなど、かの地のCDセールス記録を大きく塗り替えた超ド級の1作である。

98年7月高校在学中に現メンバーにより「モンゴル800」を結成。“モンパチ”の通称で親しまれ、現在沖縄県内Kidsの間で絶大な人気を誇る注目もバンドです。オリジナル曲「Party」が県内大手企業のTVCMに起用されるなど、何かと話題も多く、早くからCDの発売が切望されていました。昨年12/5、沖縄先行で発売されるや否や、当日完売、品切れ店続出!! という県内インディーズ史上稀にみる記録を達成!! 現在も好調なセールスを更新しつつ、オキナワというフィールドをフルに生かし、マイペースにライブ活動を展開しています。そして、いよいよ「モンゴル800」1stアルバム「GO ON AS YOU ARE」が2000年4月に沖縄から日本全国へ向けて発売!! 超注目、激注目作!!!

モンパチの事を、あまり良く知らない人は、まず、このＣＤを聴いてホシイデス・・。もういい曲ばかりで、大好きです！！歌詞カードを見ながら聞くと、さらに、モンパチの良さがわかっていただけると思います・・。
どちらかと言うと、私は、「ＭＥＳＳＡＧＥ」より、こっちのほうが好きです・・。

このアルバムの１曲目であるDON'T WORRY BE HAPPYを初めて聞いたのは、１年前。モンパチの存在も知らなかった私だけど、この曲の歌詞とメロディーにはすごくトキメキました。好きな人にこんな風に思われたら最高だな。

音にパンチがあるけど全然うるさい感じはしないから、激しすぎるパンクが苦手って人にもオススメです！

あるいは、友達　恋人　身近の人の誕生日に、聴かしてあげてください。
なぜか、心温まる・・・いい曲です♪
これからの自分が、やるべきこと・・・きっと、見つかります。
忘れていた何かが、よみがえってきます。
大切なこと教えてくれます。
