１９８０年代、ニューロマンティックのムーブメントの流れを汲む、と感じさせるこのＣＤ。シンセの妖しくも美しい旋律、世紀末を彩る暗黒世界･･･。
朗々と唄われる歌詞は、♂が書いたとは思えぬ♀（アリス）のおどろおどろしい欲と性(迷路)。　貴方も暗黒の迷路に入ってみませんか･･･。

バンド名で普通ならイロモノ扱いされそうだが、このバンドの持つゴシック的世界観が、前作（人形娼館）以上に美しいメロディーと歌詞で見事に構築されている。Japan，Visage，Ｕ-Vox、また、Malice-Mizer等お好きな方にはお勧めできる。
Key．のプレイと歌詞に惚れて夜毎、聞き入っていたが、この作品で2人が離れてしまったのが、とても哀しい。復活を望む！

5.0 out of 5 stars 妖艶・耽美な倒錯世界に引きずり込まれる, 2006/7/18
「さあ葬られた物語の続きを始めましょう　暗闇の住人たちがあなたを待っています」マダム・タランチュラに誘われ、鏡の向こう側、妖しく美しい悪夢の世界へ…。
過去のデモテープからの五曲の新録と新曲三曲からなる作品。昔のバージョンに慣れ親しんでいたせいか、新録は「SAD MASK」以外はどうもしっくりこない所があったが、多分この作品から入っていれば何とも思わない程度の違い。この作品の後キーボードのKALMさんが脱退しロックバンドに変わるが、私はこのユニット時代の方が断然好きだった。
「SAD MASK」はベルベットエデンで一番好きな曲。デモテープの頃より格段にカッコイイ。荘厳な曲調。世界観とストーリーがとてもしっかりしている。顔のない男。醜い自分へのコンプレックス。窓の外をいつも通る美しい女性への憧れ。魔性の女。誘惑。呪いの仮面。愛ゆえに無限に続く地獄の苦しみ。「坊や顔が無いのはあなただけじゃないわ」という最後の歌詞が異常に印象的。この曲には歌詞を映像化したドラマ仕立てのプロモーションビデオがあり、それも不気味で耽美的、素晴らしい出来なので、一見の価値あり。
「GIRL FEIND」はヤバめな歌詞が良い。デモテープより声がはっきりして聞き取り易くなった。昔のバージョン方が歌声が悪魔的で良かった気もするが。
「MAZE」はビデオ「SAD MASK」に入ってたが一応新曲。ノリは良いが「人形娼館」などと違ってもっと明るく軽い音。「Doomed love」とつながっているような内容。ボーカルの魔性の女的なキャラクターが炸裂。占い師さん私という迷路の居心地はいかかが？
「LA FIN」は泣ける！デモテープより音程が安定してきれい。昔のちょっと音程が崩れる感じも、感情が爆発して泣き崩れる雰囲気がよく出ていてあれはあれで良かったが。
