普通アルバムを買うと「これとこれが良かった」という曲があるけど、このアルバムに至っては「外れ無し」だった。少なくとも私には。
「夏が来て、僕等」に何もかも輝いていた様な夏と過ぎ行く夏の寂しさを思い出し、「世界で一番はげた場所」であの頃のずっと続くと信じてた恋を思い出した。
勿論、「さよならビリー・ザ・キッド」は最高に良かった。
気がつけば周りにそういう友達がいるし、自分もいつのまにやらビリーに「さよなら」を言っていた。
「子犬のプルー」を聞いていると自分も雨の中に傘もささず打たれている気持ちになった。
本当に「この曲がオススメ」と限定してオススメしたくない位良い。
全てオススメ。
でも、とっかかりというかCDを手に取るきっかけが必要ですよね。
名曲「アンダルシアに憧れて」をとりあえず聞いてみるつもりで手に取ってみてください。
きっとお気に入りの一曲になる筈です。

真島昌利（マーシー）の曲といえば近藤真彦（マッチ）に提供した「アンダルシアに…」が有名ですが、あの曲だけで判断しないほうがよいと思います。
自分一人で聴くものとして本作は最高です。
大人数で聴いたり、カラオケで歌ったりする曲は、本作を含め、マーシーのソロ作品では少ないですね。
ソロの処女作でもあり、最も評価の高い作品です。

全ソロ作品を通じて、恋愛よりも人生を考えるメッセージが多いように感じます。

数多いマーシーの作品の中でこれがベストでしょう。曲もリラックスして聴けるものが大半で特に詞の面では世の詩人たちの中でもトップクラスだと思います。ブルーハーツ、ハイロウズのギタリストとしてではなく一人のシンガーソングライターの作品として最高傑作だと思います。一つの典型として後世に残っていくでしょう。
