わりと最近の作品ですね。楽器をやっている人は聞いてソンは無いと思います。ある程度色々音楽を聞いてきた人には面白い（新たな発見）と思います。ただ、初めて人間椅子の場合、初めは慣れないかもしれませんが、聞いていくうちに口ずさんでるかもしれません（どのアルバムも）。レッド・ツッペリン。ブラック・サバスが好きな人は買ってみると良いと思います。
丁寧なアルバムですね。

いやぁ、素晴らしいなァ。「少女地獄」は地味だなんて言われているけれど、悲しくなるくらいに心に響く名曲なのだ。
今作では、ドラムの後藤マスヒロ氏が2曲唄っていて、1曲はマスヒロ氏作の歌詞も拝める。しかしまあ、マスヒロ氏の唄なんだけれども、「都会の童話」は、素直に良いと言える。「不眠症ブルース」の方は敢えて何も言わない。

けっこう地味な印象ですが、地味に良い曲が多い、MDなどに編集せずにCDそのものを長く聞き続けられそうなアルバム。
「幽霊列車」は何だかとても懐かしい気分になってホロッとしてしまいます。
へヴィな名曲「暁の断頭台」はリフがカッコよく、詩世界も暗くてわびさびがあってどこか悟ったような感じが実に彼ららしい。
人の心の奥に潜む禍々しいものがゆっくりと顔をもたげてくるような詩世界の「黒い太陽」も重々しい音像がたまりません。
「恋は三角木馬の上で」は題名からも予想のつくように変態チックで卑猥な内容を楽しそうに歌うのですが、期待していたほどヤバくなくてちょっと残念。1stの「神経症I LOVE YOU」を思い出させるような曲調。
「都会の童話」はプログレっぽい、特に所々のギターが美狂乱みたいです（キングクリムゾン…というよりは日本のキングクリムゾン美狂乱のテイスト）。
「少女地獄」はころころ表情を変える壮大で演劇的な曲展開。母さんと〜などの部分の歌とアルペジオが妙に寂しげで胸をしめつける。今時あまり使わない「女学生」という表現が妙に似合うような内容を切なく妄想。後半の暗くドラマチックな展開も素晴らしい。
「春の海」は「ダンウィッチの怪」の後半部に似た感じ、深く霧がかった景色の奥から不気味な声がかすかに響いてくるようなムード。後半で「夜叉ヶ池」みたいに疾走し始め、そこから立ち上がるギターソロ…非常に興奮する展開なのですがその部分がけっこう短くあっけない感じで終わってしまうのでちょっと消化不良。
