5.0 out of 5 stars 名曲ぞろい　特に「水没都市」が素晴らしい, 2006/6/22
プログレ的な大作「水没都市」がとにかく名曲。人間椅子で一番好きな曲かもしれない。もの悲しく美しく壮大。ゆったりと始まって激しく盛り上がった後、静寂に沈み、そこからまたじわじわと盛り上がって最後は重々しく幕をおろしていく…という展開が実にドラマチック。特に、静かな海だけ冷たい海だけ…海だけ…の部分であふれだす感情！更にその後間髪入れずにガシガシ切り込んでくるギターの重さにしびれます。諸行無常を感じさせる詩世界。
「黄金の夜明け」は夏目漱石から歎異抄までごちゃまぜの怪しい新興宗教の開祖さまのような語りが強烈で、そこに鈍器で殴りつけるようにして割り入ってくるギターにしびれる。「人間失格」のように中盤の静寂の部分からだんだんと盛り上がってきて激しく爆発する展開は鳥肌モノ。やたらと盛大なギターソロで終わるのも良い。
「平成あさぼらけ」は人間椅子らしい民謡・詠歌のような歌メロが映える名曲。ギターとベースも絶妙。特に後半インスト部のカッコよさには胸が熱くなる。
「わ、ガンでねべか」はキングクリムゾンの「ONE MORE RED NIGHTMARE」を速くしたようなギターが印象的。歌詞も面白い。
「幸福のねじ」は後半のねじ屋のおやじの部分が特に良い。非常にうさんくさくて素晴らしい。
「無言電話」は電話のベルを表現したギターとスリリングな歌メロが非常にカッコイイ。
「狂気山脈」もダークな大作。最後の沈んだ演奏に滑り込むようにして入ってくるギターソロがシブい！
全体的に長い曲が多く、人間椅子の魅力の一つであるプログレ的な部分をよく味わえるアルバム

　タイトルチューンのイントロから重々しいラストまで、一気に聴ける、聴いた後で溜息のでる傑作ですね。しかしこの楽器の演奏力、恐れ入ります。
