いいです！とにかくいい！意味不明な歌詞なのに何故かうなずかずにはいられない、この不思議さ。これこそあんじーの魅力。この曲達が、まさしくあんじーの原点、最も彼ららしい曲でしょう。これ聴いたらあんじーワールドに足を踏み入れてしまいます。

当時はまだ学生で若かったせいか、曲のノリだけを、求めていた気がします。それで気がつかなっかったのだけど、今、改めて聴くと・・・！！こんなに素敵な、ラブソングだらけだったっけ？！驚き！！！！アンジーの、ラブソングが好きな方は、いませんか？！

アンジーの曲の中で、一般的には「天井裏から愛を込めて」が最も知られているんでしょうね、たぶん。で、この曲次第でアンジーというバンドの好き嫌いが決まってしまうという傾向は少なからずあったと思うんだけど、それは実にもったいない話。だってこのアルバム、すごいよ！ 「天井裏〜」に始まり、「カナリア」（ハモニカがいい！）「アストロボーイ、アストロガール」（アストロ魂ここにあり！）「夜の行進」（泣ける！）「笑い者」（ジャパニーズ・レゲエの名作！）等を経て「おやすみ」で幕を閉じるまで、切なさも高揚感も、ちょっとしたおちゃらけまでもひっくるめたまま疾走する全11曲には一切の無駄なし！いや、無駄があったとしても構わない！ そんな名盤なんで先入観なしで聴いて下さい。
