松任谷由美のカヴァーヴァージョンの中で最もよくできた作品は鬼束ちひろの「守ってあげたい」と思っています。その中でもＤＶＤになったライヴが秀逸。他の人が違うアレンジでカヴァーすると非常によい作品になることが多いのも原曲そのものが名品であるからでしょう。その名品を、ボサノバにアレンジしたこのアルバムは、帯の「ひとりで聞いていたあの曲を、今、ふたりで聞くボサノバ」というコピーにもあるように、夏の暑い日の昼下り、トロピカルドリンクを飲みながら、ふたりでゆったりした時間を過ごしながらバックに流していたいようなたいへん心地よい音になっています。ブラジルの女性歌手の声質や歌い方、それと特筆すべきなのは原語（スペイン語？）で歌っていることが、その心地よさをさらに大きく膨らませています。あの頃「卒業写真」を聞いていた私は、いま50歳。どの曲も懐かしさと心地良さが同時に感じられて、そのことが心を癒してくれる作品です。
