世はパンク、テクノブームの頃、ライダーズもそのスタイルに影響されたかのようにこのアルバムをリリースした。しかしそのことによりかえって彼らののすばらしいオリジナリティが浮き彫りになった。「鬼火」「バックシート」等後半の力作が時間を超えて輝きを増す。私の嫁さんも「背筋が震える感動！」と絶賛の1枚。

以前ネットオークションで買って見ました。昔のムーンライダーズで知ってる曲が多かったけど、グルーピーに気をつけろとバーレスクは知りませんでした。他の曲も大体名曲と思われたものが入っているのではないかと思います。グルーピーに気をつけろは、最近ではPost WAR Babys Showの、DVDに入っていて見ていました。私が昔よく歌っていたのはビデオボーイ、VIRGINITYとか BACK SEAT 鬼火などかな？BACK SEATと鬼火は、自殺の歌ですか？昔のムーンライダーズの写真が載っているのでこんなんだったのかと、思いました。

正直、「dont trust over 30」は素晴らしいアルバムである、と思う。しかしながら、初期のライダース作品に思い入れのある僕からすると、どうでもいい音楽になってしまった気がするのである。
「camera egal stylo」と「modern music」は私的に最高のアルバムに仕上がっていると感じる。確かに、ＹＭＯなどの影響は濃いが、それをオリジナリティーにするだけの力は絶対的にある。
