私が当時初めて買ったＬＰで、３人の個性が良く出ていて、
とてもまとまってほのぼのとしたアルバムだと思います。
このアルバムを通じて「２２才の別れ」と「なごり雪」を
知りました。その後「なごり雪」はイルカさんが歌いましたが、
個人的には思い入れもありますけど、伊勢さんが歌われている
方が好きです。

1974.3月発売。曲目を御覧いただくとわかりますが名曲のオンパレードです。３人の個性ある面が引き出された１枚です。『22才の別れ』や『なごり雪』は後に『風』や『イルカ』によってヒット曲となり『赤ちょうちん』は映画化され、時代の中でかぐや姫の存在を決定的にした1枚です。

「神田川」の大ヒットで、一躍人気絶頂となったかぐや姫の、４枚目。良い曲が詰まっており、佳作の名に恥じないと思います。特に正やんこと伊勢正三の「２２歳の別れ」と「なごり雪」は彼の大傑作で、いわゆる隠れた才能の開花と言えます。ビートルズで、ジョージが「アビーロード」でそう言われたように。また、ベーシストの僕としては、ベースアレンジが前作より派手で、気に入っています。「赤ちょうちん」の他にも喜多条忠の作詞が二曲あり、どちらも男女の過去を回想する内容で、彼ならでは。それにこうせつが良いメロディーをつけています。やはりお薦めの名盤と言えるでしょう。
