高校時代の思い出の作品です。レンタルビデオ屋で借りてきた本作を友達みんなで観た思い出があります。
青春映画のキュンとした感じだけでなく、若いからこその残酷さもしっかりと描かれていて、あの頃流行の青春映画の中では群を抜いた作品に仕上がっていた気がします。懐かしさだけでなく、とってもいい映画だったので、ビデオの再販でもいいですが、欲を言うならDVD化もして欲しい作品です。

再発売の声が多いのは当然の事でしょう。ただのアメリカ青春ものではなく、見栄をはった後のむなしさ、自己中心のあまり親友の大切さを見失う事、人の意見に流され自分を偽る惨めさ、そういうことを若い頃に味わった方も多いと思います。１３年前に見た時はどこか自分の姿と重なり、楽しい映画なのに心に深く刻まれました。３６歳になった今も、また今こそ見直したい映画です。最後には勇気をもらい、心が洗われます。以前では映画通のビデオレンタル店で取り扱われていましたが、近頃はそのようなこだわりの店も減り、残念です。

10年以上前に深夜テレビで偶然見て以来,ずっとビデオショップ等で
探していましたが見つからず,一昨年アメリカのビデオ会社から直接
購入しました。でも字幕がないのでいまいち臨場感に欠ける・・・。
ストーリーは典型的なアメリカの青春ものだけど,大笑いする場面と
涙ホロリの場面とあって最高です。是非仕入れてください。
