収録曲のほとんどが「主題歌ではない曲」のため、どうしても地味な印象を受けてしまいがちだが、「ライオン丸のバラード・ロック」「キカイダーは行く」「キカイダー子守歌」「戦え！ライディーン」「海よ」など、ここにも名曲名唱が多く含まれており、“赤”“青”と並んで、ここまではマスト、と言っておきたい。特に「海よ」は、子門本人もお気に入りだという、しみじみとしたバラードの逸品。ミュージカル・ナンバーっぽく軽妙な「ぼくのおじさん」もいい味。
ボーナス・トラックとして収められたものでは、「戦えイナズマン」は歌詞の一部が違い、シャウトも少ないNG版。「レッドマン（タイプＢ）」もNG版だが、OK版とは別の曲で（歌詞は同じ。OK版の１番を、３回繰り返し歌っている）、旧ルパンなどを思わせるヤマタケ・サウンドが全面展開されているのが興味深い（ヤマタケさんのものっぽいシャウトも、随所で聴かれる）。「ウルトラマンレオ」の２曲はカヴァー版で、バックの音がやや薄いが、子門のうまさはさすが。

ＯＰ・ＥＤといった有名な曲がないので遡及度は低いですね。まぁ、それでも買っちゃうんだけど。
収録曲中でお薦めは“キカイダー子守唄”。この泣きは世界中の数多ある名バラードのどれにも引けを取らない、胸に強く響く名曲だと思います。

もちろんライディーンの音楽集を買うという手もありますが、
あえて子門真人音楽集の中の１曲として聴くのも一興かと。
さらにボーンフリーやアステカイザーなど個人的に本物を聴いた
ことが無かった物も収録され、子門真人に音楽的自我を確立された
自分としては非常に感慨深い１枚です。もちろん赤・青盤は当然
購入しているとしてですが(笑。
