まさに堂々たる平沢進保守本流路線である。ゆるぎのない個性とはまさにこのこと。テクノとかエレ・ポップとかニューウェイヴとかプログレとか、日本とかアジアとか欧米とか、過去とか未来とか、そんな些末なカテゴライズの、そんなせこい縄張り意識の、そんなつまんない時代意識の、はるか上方の天空で鳴る音楽である。すべてを飲み込んでとうとうと流れる大河のような音である。電子楽器のデジタル臭さが少し鼻につくところもあるのだが、とてもひとりですべての楽器をこなしているとは思えないスケールの大きさと、さりげなく自然なたたずまい。極力鋭角的な刺激を避け、そよそよと頬を撫でていくような、また大きな波にゆったりと乗せられるような安心感をあたえてくれる。ただ、すべてが計算づくで淡々と進行していくような意外性のなさや、やたら大仰な物言いは、なんだかNHK大河ドラマを観ているような気分になることもたしか。 (小野島大) --- 1998年09月号

私の、平沢氏初体験の作品。
初め独特の歌詞世界と曲構成に圧倒されて辟易したものの、「庭師KING」「MOTHER」の雄雄しいメロディーに引っ張られ、延々とCDをまわし続けることに。
全曲美しいという言葉が本当に似合う。メロディーもさることながら、平沢氏の歌声は鼓膜に優しく響く。
特に「ナーシサス次元から来た人」の連想力は素晴らしいものがあります。
人を選ぶ感はありますが、氏のHPで無料配信されている曲が気に入った方は一度手にとってみてください。キます。

全曲最高！ですが、あえて一番のお気に入りをあげるなら、「ナーシサス次元から来た人」の終末ＳＦ的世界観がたまらなく好きです。

あっ、でも、庭師ＫＩＮＧもいい。明治のころアメリカに移民した日本人が総称で「Gardener(庭師)」と呼ばれていたこと(ちなみに中国人は「洗濯屋」）、誠実、丁寧、時間に正確なキャラクターで働き者の代名詞のようになったことが「休まずに　ＫＩＮＧ　働くよ　ＫＩＮＧ」という歌詞で思い起こされ、郷愁を誘ってやみません。

「Ｍｏｏｎ　Ｔｉｍｅ］のコーラス部分も気持ちよく軽いトランス状態にさせてくれます。
「救済の技法」の「急げよニューロンの・・・」というコーラス部分はどことなくボルシェビキ革命歌を思わせて士気を高めるのにうってつけ。
書き物をしているときのＢＧＭとして最高！　特にＳＦが好きな貴方なら、絶対に気に入るはず！
