80年代のジャッキーファンならば、SHYの唄う｢カンニング・モンキー｣や小清水ミツルの唄う｢デンジャラス・アイズ｣(ジグゾーの｢スカイハイ｣のパクリ？)は、かならず知っている。最近、ジャッキーの初期の作品｢天中拳｣や｢蛇鶴八拳｣などが発売されたが、あの主題歌が収録されていなかったため、物足りなかった。それにしても、もっともヒドいと思ったのは、日本語吹替版が石丸博也じゃなかったということだ!!

私としては「蛇鶴八拳」、「龍拳」、「少林寺木人拳」の３作品のオリジナル主題歌が目当てなので、それ以外の曲がカバー版などであっても（もちろんオリジナルで入っていれば言う事ないですけど）「まぁいいか」という感じです。
上記の３作品については、作品のテーマと曲のモチーフがドンピシャで、特に「龍拳」の“復讐”が一つのテーマになっている悲壮感は、主題歌で見事に表現されていると思います。「蛇鶴八拳〜デンジャラスアイズ」はドラムスの少々特殊なアレンジが印象的でした。これらの曲が使われている日本上映版のDVD化は、やはり期待しちゃいますね。どうせなら映像とのシンクロで聞きたいですもん。

このＣＤはオリジナルが少ないです。
しかも、どこが「ソングス・フォー・ジャッキー・チェン」なの？
ジャッキーは全然歌ってませんよ~このＣＤは・・・
でも、オリジナルで入っている蛇鶴八拳や拳精や成龍拳、龍拳などは
とってもいい曲です。しか~し！！ヤングマスターはあれはもうダメですね

ジャッキーが歌ってないし、音楽は変だし・・・プロジェクトＡやキャノンボール、ドラゴンロードも同じです。
この四つがあと星二つをあげられないんですよね~
でも、全体的には良い曲ばかりだと思うので、お金に余裕のある方は
買ってみるのもいいでしょう。
