今振り返ると（振り返ってばっかりだが）、
ウィラードにとって60本ツアーは非常に大きな
ターニングポイントであった。

1990年のTHE WILLARD発売と同時にスタートし、全国各地を
回ったツアーでは、同アルバムの曲を育み、ギターのSHIN脱退後も
Reptile Houseを生み出した。当時のライブを体験した人には分かる

と思うが、ツアー中というのはウィラードの第2のピークだった。

ライブの回数に比例して作品の密度、ライブの内容の良否が決まる
ということは、「ライブバンド」だ、ということである。
ベストの選曲にも、ライブバンドぶりは反映されており、
ライブでやっていた曲が中心の構成になっている。

ツアー中のピーク、とその後、と言う意味では、ボーカルJUNの
「歌い方・発声の違い」も聞き所のひとつ。
ご本人もインディーズ時代の方のピークを懐かしんでいるようだが、
それはそれで、バンド20年の記念碑として十分貴重。聞きましょう！
